Getting the bookmarklet

To get the rha11y-img-filesize bookmarklet, drag the following link to your bookmarks bar. You may also click the link directly to use it on this page for testing. (Refresh the page to reset it.)

rha11y-img-filesize

The rha11y-img-filesize bookmarklet tests all non-background images to ensure none has a filesize of over 200k, per Red Hat standards. Images are outlined in blue (pass) or orange (fail). Background images are not checked. You can also view detailed filesize results for each identified image in the browser console.

(This isn't an accessibility test. But we perform this check for page QA and are sharing the bookmarklet for anyone else who may find it useful.)
